Dave's key area of expertise is working with Private Equity and Venture Capital owners whose portfolio companies need help getting back on track to growing EBITDA, getting profitable, and ultimately delivering solid ROls to shareholders & employees. Dave started his career in the U.S. Air Force where he was promoted to be one of the youngest officers ever selected to become a nuclear-armed B-52 aircraft commander. After he left the military to attend graduate school, Dave Pflieger entered the business and legal world first as a wyer at the prestigious international law firm of King & Spalding, and later as a business executive leading & managing high-performing teams at eight other companies in various roles including CEO, COO, Chief Commercial Officer, General Counsel, and SVP of Government Affairs.
Dave Pflieger's skill and expertise helping build, grow, and fix companies includes work at Delta Air Lines, Virgin America, Alaska's Ravn Air Group, Fiji Airways, and others. His work has included getting first-time U.S. and U.K. government approvals to start, rapid growth & hiring, complex in & out-of court restructurings, M&A, and implementing state-of-the-art technological and logistics improvements.
Dave Pflieger attended the U.S. Naval Academy where he studied general engineering and liberal arts, and he later earned Juris Doctor and MBA degrees at Emory University. He has also attained certifications in corporate Safety and also Board of Director governance from USC and Stanford Law School.
